SYNOPSIS OF MY DAY
4 AM wide awake
5 AM wide awake
6 AM wide awake, up, & moving!!!
to say I couldn’t sleep would be an understatement.. I was so anticipatory for the day I had ahead of me!
8 AM on the road to Skydive Georgia
9 AM waited anxiously to harness up
10 AM boarded plane
1015 AM — I WENT SKYDIVINNGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!
1030 AM cried tears of joy
1 PM hiked (with my roommate, Rachel) at Silver Comet Trail
2 PM played around a train track (what was I thinking– am I invincible??)Hunter Thompson said it right, ” ANYTHING THAT GETS YOUR BLOOD RACING IS PROBABLY WORTH DOING”.
This experience was so WORTH IT.. every emotion, every tear, every fear, every move…
Looking back– maybe I shouldn’t have asked my instructor about the death rates for Tandem Skydiving, but other than that I have never felt so ALIVE!!! from taking off in the plane, coming to an abrupt stop at 14,000 ft, dangling on the ledge, and experiencing that 20 seconds of courage, I overcame all my personal obstacles & went on my most DARING ADVENTURE!

Checking this off my bucketlist!
so thankful my roommate, Rachel, encouraged me to do this! blessed to have shared this memory with her!
