The Color for Fall

Dress \\ Heels \\ Ring \\ Earrings \\ Purse

I have to talk about the solar eclipse for a second. I know almost everyone is probably tired of hearing about because I am. Everywhere I turned the hype was about the eclipse! Gas stations, restaurants, the radio, my nail salon. It’s all people wanted to talk about it. That’s okay though, cause I now I see why! It was soooo amazing! After the totality, we came to the consensus, “we totally understand why people drove hours and hours to witness it in Kentucky.”  The display here was absolutely incredible! We had almost 2 minutes of coverage. My favorite part was when the moon completely covered the sun and we took off our glasses. All around us it seemed like dusk and up in the sky it looked as if there was a ring of light! I’m thankful we got to witness such an incredible experience. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Now, onto this dress! So, darling, right!? It’s pretty simple which means there’s not a lot to say about it. I like that though, cause simple is sometimes the best! First of all, I love the golden color. Mark my word, it’s going to be the color of fall… or at least for me it is! Second of all, the shape and fit is perfect! You can tie up all that extra fabric and it makes for pretty pleats! Thirdly, the ruffle collar is a minimal detail but very cute! Lastly, it’s easy to accessorize a solid dress! I went with a black handbag and jewelry, then tan heels! Trying to dress it up a little!
