Plum Textured Sweater

Happy Monday! I’m back in Lexington after spending the weekend in C’s hometown. We didn’t get away until late Friday afternoon, so I felt like it was the quickest trip ever. It’s four hours from Lexington to Paudcah on top of an hour time change. Whenever we go west, it’s nice because we gain an hour. However, when we come back to Lex, it adds that extra hour… and it makes it feel like you’ve spent all day in the car. A four hour trip turns into a 5 hour… Regardless of the drive, it’s always fun going back to see my future in-laws! Clint really enjoys going home too! When we were driving back last night he said, “that was a great trip home.” Just made me smile knowing he had a good time.

I don’t have too much going on this week. A couple blog related things, then I’m headed out for a girls weekend on Friday! Already looking forward to that! We are staying in Paducah (at C’s parents house), then venturing up to Shawnee, Illinois to do the wine trail! Wine and girl time is just what I need! I’m sure y’all will see some more pics after it’s all said & done!

Ok… so this is an outfit from last week! Y’all may remember seeing it on my Instagram stories and here’s the full look! I always tell myself you can never go wrong with a simple sweater and denim. It’s the oldest outfit in the book but sometimes the best option. Especially when you have a great sweater! My favorite thing about this one is the color. I don’t own many things in this plum/purple color but I’m about to start getting more! Love it for the fall/winter season! Plus I think it looks great with any hair color or skin tone!
