“On your wedding day you should look like yourself at your most beautiful.”

So far, out of all the wedding planning I’ve been doing, this day has been my favorite! We traveled through ice and snow (actually the worst conditions) to western Kentucky last week to tackle wedding dresses, caterers, and other small details!

Our first stop was at Ziobro’s! I don’t about you gals, but did you/do you dream about the day you got/get to pick out ‘the dress’?  Since I was a little girl I’ve always dreamt of what it would be like. The big white gown and veil. Naturally, since this kind of stuff is right up my alley.. I couldn’t wait!

Above, I’m sharing some of my favorite dresses of the day! There’s such a variety too! From tulle, beading, sweetheart & halter necklines, lace, sleeves, and style, I tried just about 1 of everything on!

Going into wedding dress shopping, I had a pretty open mind. I wasn’t set on 1 specific style or cut. It was more about exploring my options, seeing what looked good on my figure, and how I really felt in all the dresses.  After each one I would look in the mirror and say, “well I really like it.. think C will like it?”  Even though I know this is my dress and I’m the one wearing, it’s our day. And I want to WOW him in whatever I choose to walk down the aisle in!
