Happy Monday! I’m spending my last afternoon here in Houston and I’m so sad to be going 🙁 I’ve had the best weekend ever with one of my college girlfriends! We started off the weekend with dinner at Brenner’s! I got the lobster, Taylor got the steak! Then she introduced me to chocolate souffle for desert! It was quite interesting! I was expecting more of a chocolate cake but the souffle was still really good!

First thing Saturday morning we went to pick up her bridesmaid dress! That was the first time I’ve ever seen it on someone besides myself, in person, and I loved it!  After we left I told her, “this is starting to feel all so real. It’s going to be here before we know it!”  After that we grabbed crepes, got ready, went to Stable Gates winery, and ended the night at the rodeo! Have you ever been to the Houston rodeo?  This was both of our first times and it was quite the experience! Reminded me of a carnival and fair combined, with an endless amount of BBQ! We had a great time!! The fried oreos and cookie dough were my favorite part!

Yesterday, we went to church and brunch. Followed by Crate & Barrel where Tay helped me look at some wedding registry items. Then we ended our day with Hot Yoga and acai bowls!  All in all, a pretty good girls weekend if I do say so myself! I’m already planning my next trip back!

If you haven’t been able to tell I’ve been all over the place.. from Orange Beach to Houston, my road trips are continuing!! I’ve been waiting to share this swimsuit, from my last vacay, with y’all until the temps got warmer and I think it’s finally time! The 70 degree weather I’m sitting in right now says so at least! I absolutely love the tassel detailing! It really makes the top of the swimsuit and adds the perfect amount of drama!  The high neck detail is also super cute! It fits like a halter style and has full coverage!

Personally, I love string bikini bottoms! I think they are the most flattering on my body, so any time I see a patterned swimsuit in tie bottoms, I am normally drawn to it! That was definitely the case with this one!
