Kitchen Reveal & Cleaning Products!

Happy Wednesday!
I  am super excited for today’s post because this is my first room reveal of our new house!
I’m going to go ahead and apologize for the millions of pictures in the post! They were all too good not to include and I wanted to give you lots to look at!
When we first bought our house, I took into consideration our kitchen and what I really wanted. Since I love cooking and spend majority of my time in the kitchen, I had a vision of how I wanted this space to look. From the beginning I knew I wanted white cabinets, quartz countertops, and gold accents. Over time one decision drove another. I started off with painting my cabinets, dove white, by Benjamin Moore. From there I selected my cabinet pulls, lights, appliances, kitchen sink, faucet, and countertops (all in that order). I’m such a visual person that I needed to get one thing done before I could move on to the next. Keep scrolling to see how it turned out!

I’m going to try to break my kitchen down in categories!
For starters, lights, cabinet pulls, and sink faucet were some of the first things I invested in! I loved the thought of airy pulls, so I went with the acrylic/gold ones! Then I spotted these lights and figured they would look perfect with the pulls! Turns out, they do!! They all have this glass, see through look and the gold accents compliment each other very well!

Cabinet Pulls and Sink Faucet

It took me a while to finally pull the tigger on my sink faucet. I kept looking at this one but I was worried it would be the wrong gold. That’s why I went with the gold and silk two toned. It ties in nicely with my stainless steel appliances and gold accents.

Lights
Countertops and Appliances

Countertops are quartz. Specifically Calacatta White! I’m still working on picking out my backsplash but I’m leaning towards something in the calacatta family. Maybe long quartz tiles, or subway tiles? I’m not sure yet. Each time I walk in the kitchen I picture all the different backsplashes I’ve looked at and think about what would really look good! That’ll probably be my next project.

All my appliances are Samsung! My brain loves cohesion, so I kept my fridge, microwave, stove, and washer/dryer in the Samsung family! I’d definitely recommend their products! Especially, the stove! It’s a double stove and great for cooking multiple dishes at a time!

Cooking, Entertaining, & Baking

When it came to the kitchen decor, I wanted to pop in some natural color! Natural meaning fresh plants and neutral colors! In the three pics above you will see 3 little corners that all have their own touch!

To the left of the stove I keep my cooking book and spoon holder!

To the right (since I’m right handed) I like to leave my olive oil, butter dish, salt and pepper out!

You’ll see each side is decorated accordingly, but they all come together!
If you cook a lot, I suggest investing in some salt and pepper that stays out all the time! I  love reaching in mine and drizzling the spices over whatever I’m cooking! The olive dispenser is also amazing! It allows the oil to come out at a perfect speed, so you can control where you pour it!

For my plants I have:

  • Fresh Cilantro
  • Fresh Rosemary
  • Aloe Vera
  • Lucky Bamboo

I planted them myself, in these vases!

Since everything feels so new, I want to keep it that way! Cleaning is something I find so satisfying! I love neat countertops, sparkling dishes, and that ‘fresh’ smell! I’ve started using a new product, called H20 at Home when I clean!
I can’t say enough good things about their cleaning cloths, soaps, and clay! All of their products are eco-friendly and easy to use! I love the cleaning towels because they are made from a microfiber material that’s so soft and dries quickly! Their cleaning clay has come in handy when I need to polish my silverware and jewelry! It’s also great for everyday cleaning (sinks, appliances, shower door). If you want to try a variety of their products, I suggest getting a set. And note, all of the products smell amazing!!!!!!

I’ve gotten so many requests for a ‘kitchen update’ post! I’m hoping you all enjoyed all that I’ve shared today! For those of you that are remodeling or moving, I hope you’ll find inspiration through out! This is one of my new favorite places that I just love, love, love!
