L.A. Hotspot Travel Guide

As soon as I start to get back in the swing of things in Kentucky it’s time to leave again! I’m currently packing for my trip to Miami, but I figured I’d stop and reflect on last weeks trip to L.A.  I got a couple requests for a travel guide and suggestions on where to go! This was my second time in L.A. and it was a little more chill than my 1st!  So I only have a couple places I want to highlight, but definitely ones to add to your L.A. bucket list!

Chateau Marmont

This local spot is known for it’s celebrity guests. We went one afternoon for a late lunch and drinks! We secretly thought we might see someone famous, but we didn’t! However, their menu and wine list is great! Definitely recommend going for the experience! The cabanas are amazing!!!

Malibu Country Mart

If you’re looking to do some casual, name brand shopping, head to Malibu Country Mart! It’s got a fun environment where you can shop, eat, and enjoy the entertainment. We drove up on Saturday and it was sooooo busy! It’s definitely a popular place! They have stores like Wildfox, PAIGE, Lululemon, Sephora, Planet Blue, and more!

Nobu Los Angeles

My brother raved about Nobu so we went one day just hoping we could get a table. We had to wait for a bit but then we got seated!  Talk about a hot spot in L.A., this is it!!  Nobu is right on the beach and has the perfect indoor/outdoor seating! If you go I definitely recommend getting the rock shrimp! It was my favorite!  Also, dress nice, it’s an upscale environment.

KITH

This isn’t just some ordinary ice cream! It’s sooo much more! KITH is actually an apparel store. However, at the Los Angeles location, on the bottom level they opened up an ice cream bar! Actually, it’s more like a cereal, ice cream bar! They have the most exquisite soft serve ice cream that’s made with cereal and your choice of toppings! Delicious is an understatement. I’m craving some right now!

Pacific Palisades

I’m sure majority of you all have heard of Malibu, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Beverly Hills. Just like all those places, Pacific Palisades is apart of Los Angeles! This little town is cute to visit and run around, especially the downtown area.  Plus, it’s got some great real estate! We stayed in this area and I walked to Starbucks every morning! Loved exploring the streets, vegetation, and Sunset Blvd.

I’m already looking forward to my next trip back! I  love, love, love California! The temperament climate, environment, and way of life just feeds my soul!
