Decorate your Tables for the Ultimate Christmas Party!
Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a great weekend! Clint and I had a pretty eventful one!
We hosted the first annual ‘Friends’mas party and I am so pleased with how everything turned out! Since the holiday season is quite busy for everyone we decided to do it on a Friday night, at our own place! We had everyone bring a food dish (appetizers, dips, sides, BBQ, rolls.. you name it), cookies to exchange, and a present for dirty santa. Although we played with legit presents! It was wonderful to see everyone, catch up, ad celebrate the holiday season!
When I started planning the dinner I knew I wanted to use glassware instead of plastic plates and napkins! That decision alone kind of drove the rest of the table decor! I started with my placemats, chargers, dinner plates, and bread plates! Once I had that figured out I knew I wanted black tablecloths and napkins, with gold accents up and down the table! It was until the day before when I decided to add in the red candles to match the chair sashes, but I’m so glad I did! That really brought all the decor together and made for the prettiest Christmas tables I’ve ever designed!
Along with the table settings I tried to tie in some Christmas themes throughout the night.. from the electric reindeer wine, custom cups, and dog cookies, I kind of went all out! But hey, I believe if you’re going to do it, you might as well go all out! Right!?
If you’re planning a Christmas party or hosting dinner at your house, I hope these pics give you some inspiration! As always, let me know if you have any questions!
