Closet Organization was built at THE CONTAINER STORE (Elfa Custom System)

Before I ever designed Stuen Lee’s nursery I started planning/building her closet! If you know me, then you know I’m very OCD and must have everything organized. Seriously though, I joke with my husband all the time that if I lost an eyelash in my house I probably would know where to find it. It’s both a blessing and a curse that I’m this way!
I’m sure baby girl is going to test my patience on organization and having everything how I like it. But hey, that’s what kids are for, right!?

So needless to say, when I started on her closet I knew I wanted lots of drawers for storage and some extra shelves to store her accessories, toys, diapers, blankets, etc on. I’m that person that just wants to walk into a place, know exactly what I’m looking for, grab it, and go!
Designing a space with optimal storage was what I needed, and the consultant at The Container helped me with just that! I took the closet measurements and we laid out some options that would work for this space. Up above you’ll see what we came up with!

Since baby clothes don’t take up as much space as ours do, I figured a shelving system would be a better way to utilize the space. The Elfa system allows you to mix and match drawers, shelves, & spice racks hahaha (that’s what I used for her shoe storage). And I can tell you right now I already love having the drawers in the center! They are so accessible and I can easily see what I’m looking for. Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out! When I finished Stuen’s I told Clint I want to do mine next! Organizing can be addicting!
