The moment I looked down at the stick and it said ‘Pregnant’ my heart felt like it fell out of my body! It was one of the most special moments of my life. I walked away from it and walked back again just to make sure I saw it correctly! I couldn’t believe it!! As I said yesterday, C & I had been talking about starting our family for just a few months! Once you get in the mindset that you’re ready to have a baby you think it’s just going to magically happen. But sometimes it can take months or even years! So when you get your hopes up every month and it has happened yet, it can really start to take a toll on you. That’s why when I saw the test I was like, “wait! what! does that say what I think it says!?” You’re in such a state of shock it’s almost like you’re in disbelief at first! Then you realize, “There’s a baby growing inside of me! God picked this child out and blessed us to be it’s parents!” How magical!? How wonderful!? How amazing!!! This is truly what life is all about!

So anyways.. As soon as I gathered my thoughts and prayers I hurried to plan a scavenger hunt for C! From the time he walked in the door to the time he met me at a special spot I was giddy with emotions! It was the longest hour/2 of my life. I just couldn’t wait to tell him!!!
