Stuen Lee’s Nursery Reveal

I’m so excited to share with you all Stuen Lee’s nursery today!
It’s been a long time coming but we have finally finished it! Can’t tell you how much thought, time, effort, and resources went into designing her first room but it was all worth it!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the way it turned out!
Hope you all enjoy!

This room is by far my favorite in the entire house. Each time I step through the door I catch myself in awe. Not only because I’ve put so much into designing this special space for her, but also because of the emotions I get when I think about holding her in here, reading to her in the glider, and placing her in the crib every night. So ready for all the special memories to come in this nursery!

When I started designing this space I knew I wanted to create a neutral look with tones of blush/pink! However, the first thing I purchased was the ‘Dream’ sign. I had my eye on it for years and wanted it so bad. When we found out we were pregnant, I pulled the trigger, and figured I could incorporate it into her nursery somehow. From there my mom and I took a girls trip to Nashville, to explore Restoration Hardware! I ordered all her furniture, bedding, and lighting from there! It took a few months to get it all in (since it’s made to order based off your color choices). While I waited for it all to be delivered I went ahead and got her rug (which I’m obsessed with) and started thinking about all the accent pieces, curtains, and small decor.

I spent months trying to decide what to put on the wall over her changing table. I had my eye out for something that was unique and different. After trolling Pinterest, countless art sites, and custom paintings I knew I didn’t want a piece of art or a gallery wall. I wanted something more special and sentimental. That’s when I got the idea to create something from our heart. Clint and I each wrote a letter to her, in our own handwriting, and we had these wood signs made. (My mom owns a wood cutting/paint studio so she made them for us – contact her for more info). Every time I walk in her room and read Clint’s I get choked up. This is something we are all going to cherish forever.

Overall, I think Stuen’s nursery came together nicely!
Each day I catch myself just staring into it and dreaming about her! hard to imagine she could be here any day now. Praying for a healthy delivery, beautiful birth story, and our first memories together in our baby girls nursery. <3

The room is beautiful and those letters, so heartfelt and will be a treasured keepsake when Stuen is older.
